The project aims to boost <strong>Building Digitalisation and Intelligence (BDI)<\/strong> with a focus on <strong>Energy Efficiency<\/strong> by identifying, testing, and scaling innovative solutions that electrify, decarbonise, and digitalise the thermal energy systems of commercial and residential buildings. Ultimately META BUILD will deliver &#8220;Decarbonisation as a Service&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The innovative solutions will be demonstrated in <strong>six buildings<\/strong> located in diverse climates across Europe (Austria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, and Spain), while <strong>seven additional pilot sites<\/strong> (Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Poland, and Spain) will replicate the solutions that prove most successful.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>A holistic approach will address challenges throughout the project implementation, including product manufacturing, energy solution design and engineering, construction, renovation, operation, and maintenance.
